Youth Employment Opportunities
MFS Professional Workforce Services at JOB1 seeks to connect youth, ages 16-24, with employment and career development services. In partnership with the City of New Orleans Office of Workforce Development, qualified youth are able to enroll in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and receive:

Entrepreneurial skills training

Services that provide labor market and employment information in the local area;

Activities that help youth transition to postsecondary education and training

Education offered concurrently with and in the same context as workforce preparation activities and training for a specific occupation or occupational cluster.

GED/Hi-SET Attainment
Models for Success at JOB1 seeks to assist youth, ages 16-24 that are not currently enrolled in school, with obtaining their GED/Hi-SET Diploma. In partnership with the City of New Orleans Office of Workforce Development, youth are able to attend classes and receive tutoring. In addition, youth who qualify for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) may receive occupational training and other career development services.

In today's competitive and demanding workforce, individuals must develop critical soft skills to keep pace and strengthen their economic earning potential. It is a fact so important that research and workforce professionals have highlighted this growing concern, as many youth and young adults remain unprepared. Before these skills can be properly addressed, an accurate assessment is required.
Through research and development, MFS offers the 10Si™ Assessment as the perfect tool for Youth Service Professionals. The instrument has many key features and advantages:
